One of my guilty pleasures is America’s Next Top Model. I could definitely do without all the drama, but I love the photoshoots and pictures! One of my favorite photo shoots from last season was where they took a childhood photo of the models and updated it with modern fashion and props. So I decided to do this with a few of my own childhood pics and the help of Polyvore!
First is a Christmas pic (I’m on the left). I thought that this red jumper would be a great update, or the dress on the right if it were in red. And I included lots of strawberry themed jewelry, because my turtleneck in the picture has strawberries on the collar.
This is one of my favorite baby pictures—I was so chubby! I really like the big collar with the ribbon bow, so that’s what I focused on for the updated look. I would totally wear this outfit out on the town!
And finally we have a picture from Easter! My Grandmother loved to make my sister and I matching outfits, as you can see here (I’m on the right). I love that the sunglasses we’re wearing are totally back in style now! For this look I focused on the cute bib collar, along with the binoculars and sunglasses. I actually really like the ‘updated’ dress, I think it’s almost as cute as the original!
