The morning of my dear friend Lindsey’s birthday party, I was lying in bed thinking of birthday card ideas. I love to make or embellish my cards whenever I can, and I always want to try something new. Suddenly, I remembered a pack of blank cards that I had bought on clearance recently:
Then my brain started buzzing, and I realized what I wanted to do. I decided I would take a card and add some cute paper bunting. I had seen this idea a while ago on How About Orange, but it was so adorable it stuck in my mind!
Here are the materials I used for my ‘makeover.’
I took thin strips of construction paper in white, pink, and yellow and folded them in half lengthwise.
I then cut little triangles of each color, so that they were ‘hinged’ if that makes sense…
I placed a dab of glue on one side of a triangle, placed my string along the fold, and then glued the two sides of the triangle together!
I continued to glue triangles along my string until I had the length of bunting I wanted.
I wrapped the bunting around the card and secured it with tape on the backside. I ended up cutting out a square of construction paper and gluing over the back of the present cut out to cover up my tape and string.
Ta-dah! I looove how it came out. It was a quick and easy card makeover with fantastic results! Hooray!

That is super duper cute!
