Fabric Wrapped Wine Bottle!

As I mentioned earlier, this past weekend I attended a super fun bachelorette party where we were asked to bring two bottles of our favorite wine.  One bottle was to enjoy that night, the other bottle was to be a gift for the bride to be!  I loved the idea, and was very excited to share my favorite wine with the bride to be (Willamette Valley Vineyards Riesling, btw).  But then there was the issue of how to wrap a wine bottle…  I’ve always been interested in using fabric to wrap presents, and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to try it!  A quick google search led me to this amazing tutorial by Chewing the Cud for a kimono wrapped wine bottle.  It was perfect!

The fabric that I used was a fabric napkin from a set I bought on clearance at Target recently.  I loved the color and pattern, and it worked perfectly for wrapping my wine bottle!

And here it is!  Isn’t it adorable?  I love how it turned out, and it was a big hit!  My fabric napkin wasn’t a square, so unfortunately I wasn’t able to tie it in the back to secure it.  Instead, I used a rubber band and was able to hide it under the band in the front.

Here’s a look at the back of the wrapping, where the rubber band shows.

It was a quick and easy way to wrap a wine bottle, and I will definitely be using it in the future!
