If you recall, last year I made a red ruffled purse for a friend:
She absolutely loved it, and used it every day for a whole year! I was so thrilled that not only did she love it so much, but that something I made lasted a whole year of constant use. I pretty much make things up as I go, and this was the first lined purse that I had ever made, so I am so happy that it worked out so well. And when that same friend asked me to make her a ‘cow purse’ I was absolutely thrilled to make an even better purse this time.
I did three rows of ruffles again, but this time in an adorable cow fabric. I covered the entire front of the purse in the ruffles, and used a black colored denim instead of the off-white I used before.
I lined the purse in cow fabric and included another inner zipper pocket. But this time I also added some handy inner pockets for stashing a cell phone, pen, keys, etc. I think it will definitely come in handy.

I love how it turned out! I think it definitely qualifies as a ‘cow purse’! Check back in tomorrow to see what I did with all the extra cow fabric I had laying around…
