Weekly Photo Challenge—3/52
Last week I said that I hoped I would be able to post a picture of Baby Girl’s face, and here she is! This picture is of Baby T at about an hour old. She just gets more precious by the minute!

I am so very very pleased to introduce all of you to Tennys0n Kimik0 Walsh, born on January 14th. (The “0″s are just there for security purposes, that’s not how we’re going to spell her name).
Here are some pictures from her first few moments of life. More details to come, once we catch our breath around here!
If you remember, I made Baby Girl a CowBunny Softie a few months ago in honor of one of my friends. Well, I have since finished two more softies, and I love how they turned out!
Baby Girl now has a Fox and an Orca to join their friend CowBunny!
I made the Fox using the same bunny pattern from Zooguu that I used for CowBunny, I just altered the shape of the face, ears, and tail. Then for the Orca I bought a Narwhal pattern from Zooguu, added a fin instead of the horn, and changed the eyes. I love the patterns that I bought from Zooguu—they were so easy to follow and the results are so cute!
I love that Baby Girl’s nursery has all of these cute handmade touches in it that have so much meaning behind them!
While I’ve been sharing some fun sewing projects that I’ve been making for Baby Girl I also wanted to share some of the other crafty projects that I worked on for her nursery.
As you saw in the Nursery Tour earlier this week, one wall of the room has a fun “READ” feature. I bought the “READ” letters, painted them white, and added glitter to them. You can’t really see it in the picture, but they are really sparkly!
I also made an origami crane mobile for Baby Girl, and I love how it turned out. I folded the cranes out of various green origami paper and some dictionary pages. No baby room in this house would be complete without some origami cranes!
And finally, I also designed a cute little sign that is hanging above Baby Girl’s crib. I’ve always loved this quote from A Midsummer Night’s Dream!
Hopefully this will be the last week of belly pictures, and next week I’ll be posting a picture of Baby Girl’s beautiful face!
40 Weeks Pregnant!
This year I have decided to participate in a fun photo challenge where I will take one photo of Baby Girl every week for the year of 2013. I think this will be a fantastic way to document her first year!
This photo was taken during the first week of January, when I was 39 weeks pregnant.
I hope you enjoy following along every week!
